Best of 2007

A very interesting year in my opinion.

Sorry, OH, I'm just not a list maker.

But I would likely say, but not necessarily, that Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings produced my favourite album of '07 with 100 Days, 100 Nights. Also, to my surprise, Arcade Fire produced a good record with Neon Bible. Pinback had a good year with Autumn of the Seraphs. Concha Buika's Mi Nina Lola (high five to Satch) was a nice record.

However, these albums are more in the style of The Zola and are all stellar:

Jimmy Duck Holmes was bringing Bentonia back () with his great album Done Got Tired of Tryin'. It was great to see Ms. Koko Taylor back with her ablum Old School. James Blood Ulmer kicks arse, and his Bad Blood in the City: The Piety Street Sessions is his usual unique Blues awesomeness. And Bobby Rush produced the best album of his career with Raw.

Solid.

That's ok if you are not a list maker Zolaman, and your post can be even better than any 2007 list!!

Great list. The Boris love is great to see. I need to hear that Electric Wizard album. Also the Pissed Jeans record was great.

The two Boris albums are excellent, they will be on my list on the first spots also.

I am on little dilemma right now. I don't if I should divide all the albums on their respective genres or put all of them on a single list.
