Unhappy R.I.P. Dan Fogelberg

Wow, I got to a RIP thread before Satch.

Despite being a somewhat major singer-songwriter, I've never been a huge fan, but honestly haven't heard very much from him. That said, he's been one of my father's favorite musicians since he first came on the scene, and his death is particularly sad since he's only 3 years older than my dad...there are a lot of his records lying around my parents' house, so I suppose I'll give him a chance, under the circumstances.

OMG this sucks

My dad was also a big fan. I remember him being a wimpy, but he was always like part of my faily because when I was really young my father used to always play his stuff. That and Kenny Rankin.

I has a hankering to listen to Fogelberg and Rankin recently and DL'ed a bunch of stuff and I listened to it one time for memories sake ( for Fogelberg, most of the "Netherlands" album). I actually called my dad jokingly to ask him if he was trying to turn me into a wimp. This was about a month ago.

Now I feel horrible for it...I am probably the last one in the family to have listened to him. It is probably my fault for calling him a pussy

I was also not a fan of his music, though he did have a pleasant voice.

Be well, Mr Fogelberg.
