Arrow 90's bands and songs

I am hoping to find a great collection of 90's music. I like bands like Collective Soul, U2, Oasis, Gin Blossoms, Soul Asylum, Athenaeum, Creed, Goo Goo Dolls, Jars of Clay, Tonic, and The Wallflowers.

I would like for all of you to help me to either remember great bands/songs, or help me discover them.

I spend too much time shopping on Ebay.

List your favorite bands and songs of the 90's

Please and thank you!
Listened to Bessie Smith with St. Louis Blues

if this doesn't get the zola's 'theory of too many letters to remember' kicking i don't know what will.

i think the only band i can think of that would fit on that list is matchbox 20 and maybe hootie and the blowfish.

I doubt it. I'm pretty sure Shamemaker remembers more shitty '90s alternative pop groups than anyone. If anything, he should be here to help this guy out.

Besides, it says he's listening to Bessie Smith...definitely not '90s alternative.

But look at the tune he was listening to.

He wants more Soul Asylum while he is listening to Bessie Smith?!?!

Dude, let us inform you of tunes more along the lines of the Empress of the Blues!

I listen to all kinds of music.

I grew up listening to John Denver, The Beatles, and classical like Beethoven, Bach, etc.

I listen to bluegrass, smooth jazz, 40's like Glenn Miller, 50's like Chuck Berry, 60's like The Beatles, 70's like Led Zeppelin, 80's like Def Leppard, and even some current music.

I like Bob Marley and reggae, I like old school R&B . . .

But I also recognize that without the music that came before R&R, we wouldn't have what we do today. I love listening to Bill Monroe's music when he first started playing.

Sorry to get sidetracked. . . . I have a few songs from the 90's that I like on my ipod.

Cracker - Low
Blind Melon - No Rain

Please help me!

maybe it's just getting to the point where the 90s are becoming the new 'retro' trend.

either way soundgarden tops the pile for me.
