Cool Top 100 Records

We haven't had a time-wasting list thread like this for a while.

You know the drill.

It's okay. You'll notice I haven't posted one either.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.

In any case, if anyone wants to kill some time, this thread exists.

Go for it, Orwell.

Although, chances are, our lists will have about 80-90% of the same records on it, and probably in the same order.

Well 100 in one post is a bit much for my taste, but I'll just make it ten with each post. No particular order.

A-ha - Hunting high and low
Mötley Crüe - Dr Feelgood
Sisters of Mercy - Floodland

Very good list Geryon!!
This may take me a couple of days, and since I didn't see any rules I am supposing that any genre can be included.

I think I find this such a feat due to the fact that so many of the musicians I listen to never actually released 'albums.'

I have been though, in the past few months, trying to compile my top five. It's incomplete. My favourite album of all time is What's Going On. The others on the list are Nat Adderley's Work Song (a big surprise to those who frequent the jazz board ); Van Morrison's Moondance; and The Complete Robert Johnson.

Having a hell of a time getting it rounded out. So, given how hard it is for me to do a top 5, the chances of a top 100 is skinny.
