I have no idea WTF? or WTF? is in this group but listened to The Last Shadow Puppets with my younger daughter....and while they're "borrowing" from a good deal including Scott Walker....it was still enjoyable.

walked into my daughter's 'if you been around here long enough....you know which one' room and she was listening to death cab for cutie's latest release.

never heard or was even interested in anything by them before.

some song called i will posses your heart was playing.

the first thing which crossed my neurons was whomever is the singer is "borrowing" heavily from placebo's brian molko singing style.

discuss amongst yourselves.

p.s. it took all my satchmo powers from falling into a coma.

I detest placebo.

So boring so safe.

My cousin lent me a DCFC cd a while back, couldn't find anything of worth from it.

i've had the mp3's of those for years. if i may ask, what'd you pay for your copy? they were going upwards of 50-100 dollars at one time.

...and if you're interested, you might be able to find mp3's of this somewhere online.

I have a cd-r of it somewhere, but not sure where

Mine is an Mpeg3 version as well. Soooooooo.......

Very creepy stuff where ever it came from. I think I'll have to update some computers at work with new start up sounds.

I'll have to check out the remix stuff. Is there anything else out there like this?

After reading your post, I picked up about 70 Conet Project tracks from Pirate Bay. Haven't checked any of it out, but that's a good place to find them I suppose.
