seems like my jam room flooded today. WOOO!!!
all i know so far is the old man in charge of the warehouse where pretty much everyone in town jams was trying to contact someone from my room about an urgent flooding issue. i heard from a guitar player that shares a common bass player with my drummer. i'm hoping it's just something about noticing water coming from under our door and just having wet carpets. all depends on where the leak originated from in our ceiling. it'll still be a hassle to remove 2 layers of wet carpet but i'd rather do that than have to replace amps.

Is it me or does it seem like every "Indie" band these days is from Canada?
Discuss amongst yourselves.

Dunno, a lot of good stuff is coming out of Washington, too
And then there's the old standard Athens, GA, though I honestly haven't seen much from them since Apples In Stereo and Elf Power.
From what I see, Nebraska's turning into a hot spot too.

The state
I'm not sure if I'm aware of many bands that have made it out in D.C.

Make of this what you want, but I only recognize two of those band names.
I'm not too into Hardcore or Emo either.
Also, five is not many

There is more but I was going for the big ones you should have recognized. The first three are as important and influential as any band you can name from the last 30 years. I would take all three against over pretty most of what has come from Washington....as in, the state.
