Well I might get lost and end up outside. I'll want to get back in eventually.

Just wondering if anyone have heard anything from Deep Dark United. And any thoughts.

It's one of the groups/projects involving Alex Lukashevsky.

I've seen him/them a few times while in Toronto.

I was always thought that the title "closer" the joy division album, is the closer that refers to something moving towards you, as opposed to something that ends something, but I haven't gotten any confirmation to that.
Would that be correct?

Gaw, terrible grammar in that first sentence. Sorry.
How do most people pronounce it then?

As in, is it closer as in the opposite to opener or is it closer as in nearer? I always thought it was closer as in nearer but now that I am thinking of it maybe it is the opposite of opener..??

Yeah that's what I'm wondering.
A while ago whenever I read an album review that had a reference to a 'closer' song I never realised they were referring to the final song. I thought 'closer' was some kind of music term that described ethereal or majestic songs , not sure why I thought that. Maybe I thought these beautiful songs were closer to perfection, or closer to transcendence, I don't know.
