Am I the only one that thinks Muse is a U2 cover band? I admit that I have only heard Black Holes and Revelations. I keep hearing they're a Radiohead cover band, but maybe I am missing something.

That's mainly because Black Holes and Revelations sounds like an imitation of U2, while Absolution and Origin of Symmetry sounds like an imitation of Radiohead's first records. I believe they have their moments but they surely are not the greatest band ever.

As far as Muse goes, I've only heard that one track, so I can't really say one way or another, but I did enjoy it.

Bill Frisell and Earth? Weird, but awesome.

Shit. How did I miss this?

I just found out about it's release. 2-years ago.

Hell man, even I knew that came out. And I'm not very big on Mission of Burma (I actually like them, but haven't found the time to listen to them extensively).

Well I guess that's the problem with not following any music magazines or blogs or news sites...I just stumble onto things in my own time.

I am sure you're expecting a certain translation involving pants, ghost, and tight would have gone.

But that's been retired....
