Exactly. So not only could we break a rule that's included in our probation that we aren't aware of in the first place (because, since we don't know if we're on any sort of Secret Probation, or if such Secret Probations really even exist at all, we certainly don't know what any kind of Secret Probation would imply as to curbing our activities), we could have actually bent one such rule, thus upgrading us to a level of Secret Probation like the one you described (Extra Special Triple Super Secret Probation). One of the rules of Double Secret Probation might be that one isn't allowed to discuss Probation, so if I were (unknowingly, of course) at this moment already on Double Secret Probation, I would be (via this post) upgrading (or downgrading, depending on how you look at it) myself to Extra Special Triple Super Secret Probation the second I hit the "Submit Reply" button.

Unless that's not one of the rules. In that case you're in the clear.
In any case, what does this have to do with musical banter?
This needs a song...

That said, if there were some higher-up in charge of disciplining Satchmo, he himself could somehow already be on Double Secret Probation. One of the rules of that probation might be that he isn't allowed to administer any type of probation to anyone else, thus rendering all of the Probations that may or may not have been placed on any of us meaningless and void. However, because neither Satchmo nor we know about the Secret Probation he's on, we don't know that the Secret Probation that we're on (which we don't actually know about in the first place) is meaningless and void. So really, in that scenario, we could continue to upgrade ourselves to infinite further levels of Secret Probation (unknowingly), but never actually face any punishment except for more meaningless levels of Secret Probation.

Don't ask me. I made a passing half-joking comment in a long post and a metaphysical discussion somehow breaks out.

And how!
Or at least put that imagination to a better use than figuring out theoretical secret probationary measures.

He may or may not now be on Extra Special Triple Super Secret Probation at this point.

Back to more important matters. Am I the only one who finds everything Cirque du Soleil does to be snoozefest?
They will have amazing feats, but it's a case of the parts are more than the whole.
I would also like to say what George Martin and his son did to the music is deserving of The Squirrels.

I'm glad the Grammys are televised, it gives me extra reason not to care.

You know, all things considered, I'm glad Herbie won. The album might not be all that impressive, and the nod may be as reparations are to black virgians, but it's about friggin' time.
Otherwise, I think Cirque du Soleil could have used about twenty two more pranciful dancers. Either that or thirty seven.
