He seemed okay to me. Jumped off the stage to get close to the crowd at one point. Had to be helped back up, ha.
No bad jokes were delivered

Widespread Panic is playing down the street in a couple weeks. I may actually make the effort to walk down and see them. No guarantees though.

Translation:
WTF? My bathroom would be more than enough room for them....and there is the whole two birds with one stone thing....for those of you thinking too much information....don't make me suggest to The Big K that your favorite forum (except the greatest forum on this board....as in, Jazz (hey, I may or may not be a hermit....but I am not stupid and/or suicidal) be closed.

one of my good friends from clarksville is a Panic Manic (i just made that up, woohee). In other words, like a dead head to the Grateful Dead. He's travelled all across the US to see them.

I suppose they have shared a guitarist, so it's understandable

Well as I wait for them to kick the tires and fill up the tanks after doing the once more into the breech bit for those you love. This time with two of the younger daughters.
Anyone wondering the last time a Jazz record won Album of the Year was in 1964....João Gilberto & Stan Getz for Getz/Gilberto. The fact that they gave it to one of the many snoozefests Herbie Hancock continues to release for the Benjamins would be funny if it wasn't so absurd.
As much as Tina still has game....only one woman in that building can be called The Queen is The Queen of Soul. The closest Tina came to giving Ike a shout out was going Old School with Proud Mary.....with the same moves Tina has been doing since it was The Ike and Tina Turner Revue. By the by, Tina is still a freak of nature. For those wondering, she is 68....and was still breaking off the steps like she was only 40.
Have no idea why Beyonce would agree to part of a something that shows her entire act is ripped off from Tina.....especially in a number that she rips off the moves from in her shows.
Can someone please keep Kanye West from ever being allowed to speak at these things. Thank You!
Can someone please keep Ringo Starr from ever speaking and/or putting up the double peace sign. At least Paul had enough sense to stay away.
Can we stop using THE GREATS who are no longer above ground for half-assed duets that they would never have been anywhere near if they were alive.
Can someone keep Feist from singing that song.
Max Roach gets a Lifetime Achievment Award....too bad the BASTARDS waited until he was no longer above ground.
Can anyone tell just how much I enjoy these things?
A song about a Tick by I don't know WTF? WTF?
Now pass the Single Malt!
Now excuse me while I go put two more who don't appear to be down with a simple Satchmo request that had a please in it on the Secret Double Probation List. I still haven't made up my mind WTF? that is supposed to mean.
