The thought has occurred to me but my current insurance is somewhat limited. Maybe some year.

It's not my business and you don't have to answer, but have you considered talking to your father about that? It doesn't sound like something you should be putting off for a few years.

I can't relate on the mountainous front, but you do make me miss the house I grew up in. The transition from the extremely rural wooded areas where I grew up -- as in, no neighbors for miles -- to the claustrophobic concrete of the city I'm now in was a difficult one.
Hard to image these days, what with so much of my time spent working/wasting on a computer, but up until I was 13 or so I hardly ever spent any time indoors. If it was daylight and I wasn't in school I was exploring the seemingly endless woods around my house. As a kid I felt like I knew every tree in at least a 5 mile radius personally.
Makes me somewhat sad that, for the career I'm looking at getting, I'll likely be forced to live in an urban area.

Well thanks, I hadn't even thought that it could be a brain tumor or something.
Oh well, I've had weirder things happen with my brain. I wouldn't be terribly surprised.

Well, I do always seem to find some way of making the Holidays interesting. I guess I'll bring it up then.

The cause doesn't have to be a tumor....but what you're describing isn't exactly normal....even for someone with your previous medical history.

You know for someone who is normally intelligent.....
P.S. Is there a particular reason you're using multiple handles in the same day, now? I can understand not being able to use the normal one, but

I thought I already covered that in this thread.

Sorry, I'll stick to this one for now. I always forget the key combination for that Danish letter anyway/this one's easier to type.

Has anyone ever seen any image of SiddhÄ?rtha Gautama meditating with his eyes closed? Depending on how you want to see it....they're always half-opened or half-closed.
With most people if they attempt it with their eyes closed....they only place they will transcend too, is to sleep.

Indeed. There are no scripts of any ancient meditation teaching that says to close the eyes during practice. This is highlighted by moving meditation, ie, tai chi chuan.
