So after school we went to his place and listened to the entire CD, it was some Best Of or something. Although I don't remember any specific songs and I haven't listed to Hooker since, I still have him on my checklist.

That's not funny at all! All these years after hearing Boom Boom and he is still only on your checklist?!!?

You have to realize it's a very competative checklist. Between then and now JLH had to go up against Ratt, Roxette, Mötley Crüe several times, Bon Jovi, Sisters Of Mercy, Billy Idol several times, Transvision Vamp, ZZ Top (during which phase he almost moved into a top contender postion), Poison, a seemingly endless general New Wave phase, Belinda Carlisle, Eurodance every now & then and whatnot. Even Disco and Hi-NRG have been on the list for years now, and still I haven't really checked them out.
John Lee will just have to wait until it's his turn.

I would put Janet over Paula by at least a mile since Paula can't sing to save her life.

There's a similar picture of me demolishing my first birthday cake.
I ate the living hell out of that thing.
That kid doesn't look fat to me.

Great. I'd actually managed to forget that this person ever recorded anything until I saw this thread.

In any case, I can see the quality of the rock forum threads leaves a lot to be desired these days.
I would suggest that RM members of intelligence start creating more worthwhile threads before we start to look bad around here.
