Any Kenny G fan here?
Hi I'm new here, but I like to listen to a lot of music. I'm a Kenny G fan, which is in my opinion the best jazz musician of all time, oh and I also like Norah Jones, she is very talented too.
Any other fan in here?

The fact that neither considers themselves to be Jazz musicians is beside the issue, I take it? Well, at least Norah can perform in tune....which is something the complete hack that is Kenny Gorelick can't do to save his life a great deal of the time.

Well, if they aren't jazz then what? Kenny doesn't play a guitar so it's not rock, and it's not classical either, so what then? Rap you think then lol?
So now I'm a troll and spammer because I share my tastes? Sorry for that then.
Well, at least I found one guy who likes to listen to the good music. What's your favorite album and song from Kenny G TheZola? I don't really know who Coltrane is, but I would never say to any musician to screw him, I think that all are good to listen at least once.

Well at least you prove three things with that post....
1. You don't know anything about Jazz.
2. You don't know what is good music.
3. You don't recognize sarcasm. Look up John Coltrane and you will understand this one. How in the world does anyone claiming to be a Jazz fan and great music not know who John Coltrane is, anyways?
Kenny is equivalent to the likes of Yanni, Britney Spears, Vanilla Ice, Linkin Park, 50 Cent, pick almost anyone shown on MTV, etc...., etc...., yada, yada.
In the case of Norah Jones....she has elements of Jazz, Country, and Soul for that matter; however, but she is clearly Pop. She has talent, but it's wasted on the bland music she records.
Lot's of groups and/or musicians in multiple genres of music have been influenced by and have elements of Jazz in their music but are not Jazz....to name a few:
Frank Sinatra
Led Zeppelin *
King Crimson *
Frank Zappa *
Captain Beefheart *
Van der Graaf Generator *
The Doors *
The Stooges *
Black Flag *
Steely Dan *
Chicago *
Soft Machine *
The Minutemen *
Meshuggah *
Red Hot Chili Peppers *
Mike Patton (pretty much everything he has been a part of) *
* Influenced by Coltrane and/or members of his Classic Quartet or later groups.
