John McLaughlin & 4th Dimension
Don't know what your feelings are on John McLaughlin and all the permutations his bands have gone through, but I recently had the opportunity to see him live. Absolutely mind-blowing, musical sports from start to finish. As a guitarist, I was floored. I even got him to sign my hands, which was awesome.

What's the general opinion of the Jazz forum towards fusion?
