Well it's that time of year again.
This year's nominees.
Madonna
Donna Summer
John Mellencamp
Leonard Cohen
The Dave Clark Five
The Ventures
Chic
Afrika Bambaataa
The Beastie Boys
A few making a return from recent years nominations. As in Chic returns from last year nominees but The Stooges didn't.
You know Madonna and Beastie Boys will make the cut....and if they don't include Leonard Cohen there might be a riot....but they continue to make incredibly bad/bizarre decisions (this list once again shows that)....leaving 2 or 3 more from the above.
Even taking into account the concept is laughable and the HOF Foundation is a scam.....each year there are less and less deserving Rock groups/musicians getting nominated and/or being inducted.
As per usual....discuss amongst yourselves and get back to Satchmo.

i hate john mellencamp almost as much as i hate don henley. BOOOOOOOOORING!!!
as much as i like the b-boys they're hardly what i would call R&R hall of fame material. then again aside from the ventures (link wray, dick dale, and the surfaris are all already in right? RIGHT?) and the DC5 i wouldn't consider any of them R&R hof material. cohen is cool and all but i've never heard his stuff and though ROCK!
