Seba, you've never listened to David Bowie? Shit.

Of course I've heard Bowie, I've just never cared for his music enough to go out and buy an album.

And before you get to it, no, I don't have any Springsteen either.

I'm not surprised that you don't have any Springsteen, but Bowie seems like someone you'd have gotten into at some point. At least his Berlin/Brian Eno period. For the record, I actually like Bowie on the whole more than the Boss. I like a couple of Bruce's albums more than any of Bowie's, but Bowie has a lot more good ones, whereas I'm with Satchmo on Bruce's quality wearing out post-Nebraska.

He has to work harder at it for R&B/Soul, after all.

Some?

Satchmo's math just might be off....but wouldn't that mean you were not familiar with 50% of each list?

I agree wiht Jazzfromhell here, Bowie's albums like Ziggy Stardust and Hunky Dory were done in a pop song conventional way, and even though those are well written records, there is nothing new there. But the ones with the Berlin/Eno era are really something different, specially Low and Heroes.

Well, I love his more poppy rock albums (Ziggy is my favorite of his, and one of my favorite albums ever), I just meant that I thought Seba would've been more likely to be into albums like Low, Heroes, etc.
