Although no one who knows anything about guitar or music in general would deny their influence over rock...I'm kinda curious to hear the explanation for why Django and Charlie would be considered rock, as well. Anyway, for me it all comes down to Hendrix in the rock department. The man was something else.

I listed my favorite rock guitarist (that James Marshal guy) and than placed him in order of my all-time guitarists. As in....he is 3rd.

I can understand the Grasshoppa not understanding Satchmo....he hasn't been around for a good amount of time, but you know things are going to hell when T-R is the only one who semi-understands Satchmo.

Hm. Damn. Um.

Christ, I dunno.

It's probably Jimi, but I really dig Peter Green and Duane Allman, as well. Plus, no matter what, Cream Clapton kicked arse. Then he sucked.

Duane Allman is probably my second favorite.

Indeed. The awesomeness of this cannot be questioned:

And the ratio of awesomeness of the above clip to crap in the below clip also cannot be questioned:

What?! You listed four guitarists as possible candidates, and Eddie isn't among them?

Actually I pretty much just quoted an article I remembered and hoped for a positive reception. Personally, I like only a handful of Hendrix' songs. He had some cool jackets though.

He was not out of my mind in the least. I still dig Ed.
