The part about the plague, or just the coughing and sneezing?
Funky President was in my neighborhood a couple times during the period when I was learned enough to recognize him as DA MAN. I just always figured he'd be back again, I guess.

I was rather busy around that time and wasn't free until about 9:00. The ol' blood in the sputum trick would have come in handy that day, let me tell you. I hate regret. Lousy emotion.

You could have tried the.....you saw a little old lady (who you found out later was your favorite elementary school teacher back when you were a nymph) being mugged and you immediately went to her rescue and in the process of chasing the 15 (or 20....your choice) of them off....you were hit by a semi and thrown 20 feet....causing you to hit a parked car. Luckily, the Dr says you will be back at work tomorrow.
P.S. For the Philistines amongst you....once again, I am not actually saying you go out and try this or some variation.

Hmm, good one, but it wouldn't have worked sadly. I didn't go to elementary school here...
...though people do travel, don't they?
Hmm...

I actually got guilt-tripped into skipping the only Niyaz appearance here to go to someone's 3rd or 4th going away party. She was going to the Gambia on a Peace Corps mission, which she left after just over a year. Niyaz....has yet to come back.
I buy my tickets well in advnace these days
Hey Ratt...welcome back! I like this artist you've recommended, not exactly what I might have expected from you, but I have been proven wrong

Well, at least there are a few people who know Regina.
MMmyes, Soviet Kitsch is full of excellent songs. This is the kind of music I'll put on in the car on long road trips, so as to ingrain good taste in my children.
I haven't picked up the new one yet - what's it like?

i personally like soviet better. begin to hope's pretty good too. there's a version of the album that comes with a "bonus disc," the songs on the bonus disc are pretty cool. some tracks in there is the well known "fidelity," "samson," and "on the radio." i think it would make good road trip music. i've yet to get her other albums tho [songs??; 11:11].

The production difference between the two discs will probably be enough to get me leaning towards her new one, though. Very much toe-tapping music. I think all she really needs to be huge is a little extra bass
But songs? I dunno. I think the only other stuff she's released are bunch of complimentary EPs. Then there's live at the Bull Moose. That I heard at a friend's house. It's all been on albums except for one track, which is stunning, called "My Man." Otherwise, she's all charming and flirtatious (yaay), but that's all I know of.
