It's hard for me to describe...A good example would be "Necron the Hell God" by Cake Builder. Just certain sounds that types of house and drum and bass often have, especially lead synths. Basically just music you feel would be appropriate for a rave.

lol agreed, but I think you get the point with the types of lead synths he uses. Maybe something like DJ Nosferatu is more likely.

I found out the type of synth sound I was talking about is called the "hoover".

Ah yes the good old hoover, it was a bit over used a few years ago.
