i was going to reply to the thread
"-popularity, lack of popularity-"
but it's nice having a thread like this..
i know that video qwerty mentioned
'much against everyones advice'
and 2many djs, quit recognizable in here...
(gonna take a look at the album this afternoon)

(by the way
dEUS, K's Choice and Hooverphonic
are my favorite bands from Belgium...)

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

yess
K's Choice -> Almost Happy is a great album,
the intro is so sweet, a kid singing a Belgian child-song...

dEUS -> "the ideal crash" very tough record, but before that
album "suds and soda" and wonderfull "roses" are my ever favorite hits..

hooverphonic -> i love themmm. but, heyy,
Stardust, you should have compared Lamb vs. Hooverphonic,
more related i think, sure that's my humble idea, nevermind

Soulwax are good and I knew they were from Belgium! They aren't very popular over here though and not many people know them. 2 many DJ's are also excellent! I didn't realise they were the same people. I was actually listening to Soulwax and 2 many DJ's in the car today so that's pretty funny!

I've been told that this is the new single, I don't know what to think of it, it doesn't feature their vocals and though I knew that it would be more danceable... it's kind of a surprise, it's no rock at all...
