I was going to go see Boris and Om at the SF Amoeba yesterday (for free, damn it!), but my parents were keeping me in all day to work on school/college.

The only things I can make out of that is....
1. Preparing for the SAT and/or ACT.
2. Working on applications and/or essays.

The only thing I make out of that is:
Don't go to college anywhere near your parents' place!

Ted Leo & The Pharmacists on Dec. 2nd
...
That's all interesting shows in my area. Unfortunately, the only big & good theater got shut down and won't be open for a little while, so shows around here have been slim pickings. Josh Ritter was f'ing fantastic though.

As in....
Ornette Coleman
SFJAZZ Collective
Myra Melford
Tim Berne
Cecil Taylor
Nevermind....apparently this particular peon didn't realize Satchmo meant Portland as in Maine and not Oregon.
P.S. Satchmo breaking out his Bah, Humbug list and marking and checking it twice.

Huh..?
Unfortunately I don't live in the Oregon Portland, or I would most likely take that opportunity.
