I only know one Grasshoppa who is in PA....and from what I know....she's not into that kind of music and hasn't posted in a good while.
The Chicago, San Francisco and N.Y. shows are the three closest to any Grasshoppas who might be interested.

Oh, well, just throwing it out there.
I'm starting to wonder if Yoshida's completely exhausted all the bassists willing/able to play his music.
The fact that he was even able to find more than one is still surprising...

I'd try and go to the SF one, but if it's at a place called Hemlock Tavern, I'm guessing it's 21+. I tried to see them last time they were around (to my knowledge), with Acid Mothers Temple, but convincing my parents to let me go to a show starting at 10 PM in San Francisco would've been nigh on impossible.

Maybe by some sort of earth shattering miracle I may just try for the Atlanta show, but probably not.

I'm between Digitalisim and Pinback who are both playing on Wednesday. Not a huge fan of either but I'm leaning towards Digitilisim since DJs don't really come up to Boston.
As far as the rest of this concert season in Boston goes,
October 12th,
!!!
October 17th,
Spoon
October 20th,
Del The Funky Homosapien and Devin the Dude
October 26th,
Umphreys
October 31,
Disco Biscuits
November 12th,
Battles
November 13th,
Broken Social performing Kevin Drew album
November 15th,
Yo La Tengo at the MFA (!)
November 16th,
Dark Star Orchestra
November 23,
Dinosaur Jr.
December 4th,
Madlib and some other hot shots
Nothing amazing but a pretty cheap fall season in terms of prices.

I wanted to go to see Eddie but I believe they are both sold out.
I did see P. Funk about a month ago and the jazz festival last weekend, good times
