I guess anyone who was hoping for a Las Vegas reincarnation of CBGB can drop hopes of it ever happening, now. Rest in peace, CBGB was a jump-off band for tons of bands I love, and I'm not even huge on punk (not that I don't love a lot of it).

Man, that sucks. After the whole fiasco that happened with CBGBs, what with the rent dispute and the powers-that-be not willing to recognize its pop culture importance, I was really hoping for the resurrection.

Be well, Mr Kristal.
