K-Pop is more along the lines of this:

Holy shit! I feel your pain...but this seems like normal 2000+ "RnB"-based boygroup/girlgroup pop to me, only with more asians in the video.

And Shanadoo are being produced here? Damn I should have known! And I know that "Samurai" is a ripoff of E-Rotic's "Fred". Anyway I'd pick Eurodance over K-Pop anyday.

And Panbient doesn't like RATM? Now THAT's a major surprise to me!

I'm even surprised by this, but I've never really liked the Rolling Stones. I tried "Exile on Main Street," "Let it Bleed," and others, but they never clicked with me. I'm not sure why...

- I have never liked Frank Zappa, although to be honest I have heard little of his material.

- Faith No More is the only Patton project I like.

- I don't much like Fennesz' material other than Endless Summer and Venice. I think he does pop-like music really well, but the other stuff is not for me.

- This is probably blasphemy on this board, but I think "Mingus Dynasty" and "Mingus Ah Um" by Charles Mingus occupy a place between traditional and avantgarde jazz that doesn't appeal to me at all.

I'm sure there is more but I can't think of any right now.

You need to go to a club, get wasted, tell the DJ to keep playing "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "Brown Sugar" over and over and dance 'til you drop. You'll like 'em afterwards.

Hey Zolaman!

Is Para Para a big thing in Korea? It seems to be quite popular in Japan. And Shanadoo are actually part of the Para Para movement.

I don't really know, I don't do the club scene. I do the smoky blues bar with whiskey scene. And from time to time, the hookah lounge (though the music sucks there).

Is that when you're not taking on all comers for your title of The King of Karaoke?

Yes, that's correct. Even kings need a little 'me time'.
