I'm not that sure, but I think that no one around here is a fan of Kiss and/or the 30 last years of Aerosmith (well, maybe just Team-Rancho), so you can feel safe on that part.

Then I guess I should take a bigger risk. So I'll mention that I don't care much for...

Pink Floyd, the Doors, Talking Heads, Bruce Springsteen, the Cars, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, and anything with Ozzy involved.

Maybe "dislike" is too strong for some of those artists, but at the very least I'm indifferent and quickly bored by them.

Am I still playing it too safe?

I like Pink Floyd but their fans take their quality way too far. They say their guitar and vocals are the best. They're good but not that good. So in a way it kind of ruins it for me. I like them though. I used to hate them.

I don't like RHCP's new stuff. It bores me. I don't have that much respect of them for covering Fire. I listened to Rollercoaster and liked it but their vocalist saying stupid shit behind the good singer they must've hired annoyed me.

If you say so.

I look ridiculous in hats of any kind, so I doubt I'll be picking up that beret any time soon..

And dressing in a way that people can barely tell if you're not wearing the same clothes everyday isn't?

I don't think so. Just imagine if my washing machine breaks or there's a catastrophic natural disaster or something, it could come in real handy.

Seriously, I don't see how it's that different from wearing a suit every day. There's not a whole lot of variation going on there beyond choice of tie.

I can understand The Doors. I like them, I think they are a great band but I can understand why some don't like them.

I never heard of those other 2 bands.

Cowboy Junkies is the ultimate laid-back sound (to me they make me want to sleep but more of boredom than relaxation -). The Tragically Hip is Canada's answer to the Doors...many have described them that way - for me they bug me as much as the Doors.
