Help With The Pig Squeal
I need some help from my death/grind friends out there. I am a trained vocalist and I do screaming vocals pretty well. There is just one problem, I cannot for the life of me do the pig squeal, or at least do it right. If I do it by inhaling it sounds more like a real pig than metal. If I exhale it sounds like I'm gurgling through a tube but when I clear my throat its gone and its not very loud. Any hints? Like for regular screaming my placement is in my head, but should I be doing it from the throat? should it hurt?
Any help is much appreciated.
Peace

Seen it, I'm looking for some specifics, also what about the use of the microphone and cupping. Is that necessary? Plus that article for inward breathing which I've heard is inferior to outward.

Dude I love the pig squeal, it's like the novelty of death metal, like completely overdone soloing is to thrash.
