Sorry I'm a bit late with this, I've been playing with it for some time now, but since at the moment I have nothing else to do, I thought NOW would be a good time to post it.

It's basically like MAX/Msp, a visual programming enviroment to create realtime controlable video / audio output. It works very mathematically (like most programming languages) so don't expect to find spectaculair filtering / fx right after the install, like all good things, it takes time. It is easily made compatible with all the in and outputs of you ordinareur though!

There are a lot of cool patches downloadable from their site, wich explain in clear detail how to use the different functions applied. It has no menus / tabs however, all the direct commands to the program go over key combinations, so the first time you'll open the program won't be that much fun, more like a painfull learnign experience, but as I've mentioned earlier, it's definetally worth while. The best thing about it is that it's free!!! If you'll be using it in commercial projects, you'll have to get a license, but for the plain fun of it you can just grab and use it all you want, including the user patches hosted on their site.
