Why Did You Start Listening To Hip Hop?

I really started listening to hip hop because not a lot of people listened to it and it was our thing with da homiez it really made sense in the hood .Hip hop has grown into a mainstream music today. Now there are no longer divides on race and class to who listens to hip hop which is really a great achievement for a genre that was dismissed as noise .This growth has not come at a cost some say hip hop is dead however I disagree because if you don’t want to continually listen to the mainstream you can be amongst the first to find new music and artist in the myspace revolution. So go underground myspace is packed with underground hip hop acts some destined to be big just undiscovered .Stop complaining about how boring myspace is, you just not using it right .Start listening to the underground by viewing
www.myspace.com/3querecords on your underground experience and if this not enough for you there are many more artists on myspace to check out

Holla myspace friend’s new chat room on my page

All that was in my world of music was Metallica and Iron Maiden. Then came along a little guy named Eazy E and liked rap ever since! NWA was doing things no one had done or said and thats why I liked it. Of course one of the artists alot of people just don't talk about anymore that drew me to rap music was ICE T.

Run-D.M.C. on MTV probably had something to do with it. From the mid 80s to the mid 90s there was some great stuff. Today, I’m not so sure.
