Ever get the feeling the well has dried up?
welly well well, as of lately i have been getting the feeling that the "metal well" has dried up, of course there will always be the great metal bands that are already established, but it seems like there have been some pretty lack luster attempts at these new metal bands coming out, and you can only listen to the same thing so many times before even the great songs start to wear down on you, so somebody please refute me, and give me some stuff that is anything worth listening to
Listened to Lamb Of God with Laid To Rest

ok that is true, but its hard tryin to find music that entertains me as much as metal, i mna i'm drawn to the intensity and things like that, however i dont like the crap like Cannibal Corpse, or Deicide, cause i see that stuff as just overgrown guys growling into a microphone, however the metal with a twist sounds interesting, so i'll check em out

Metal is like jerking off. Even if you feel tired of it at the moment you'll be back at it later.

Continuing to listen to metal doesnt mean you cant find other stuff too.
Check out the album Obscura by Gorguts.

There are lots of new metal bands out there, the only problem is they have a hard time getting signed because of this rap / hip hop nonsense on the radio. This means you just have to look harder

You know, I usually can't stand self-promotional signitures...but metalhead's actually made me laugh. I like the catch-phrase.
On topic, I think it'd help to know what Sonix likes so we could potentially make recommendations.
