ok people, i want some input on this band i have recently gotten into, Five Finger Death Punch, their debut album The Way Of The Fist is set to drop July 31st, its a metal/harcore/thrash band, personally i find them to be in good taste and putting some great music out, its a band of five guys all previously belonging to other metal acts, ok so love em? hate em? any comments on them at all? have you even ever heard of them? and if you havent i suggest you listen to them sometime

1. If their debut album hasn't even been released yet....huh?


2. Isn't pretty much every metal band in the last 20-years made up of members that were members of previous bands?


3. Five Finger Death Punch, Way of the Fist, and Zoltan Bathory? With names like that I can't imagine the music is going to be anymore original.

i've seen alot of your posts on here so i should have been expecting this, my own fault

1. thats the great thing about the internet, something doesnt need to be out on the street yet to get a taste of it

2. not completely, i mean look at all these crappy emo core bands claiming to be metal that have been made up of know nothing 18 yr old kids singing/screaming like they know something

however you do make a valid point, most metal worth listening to has had members in other decent metal acts so point well taken

i do listen to mastodon, myfavorite song by them is Blood and Thunder

Then listen to Meshuggah

okie dokie once again i do listen to Meshuggah, stuff like Future Breed Machine, although i would appreciate it if you kept dropping some names, i need some new stuff to listen to

i'll keep the Ms going and drop merzbow just for sheer intensity in ten cities.
