You said in all musical history and not music today and even then, that would only describe mainstream music today.

You took the words right out of my mouth, or keyboard, or whatever.

I've gotten to the point where I don't even think in songs

I don't think "oh I want to listen to that song now"

I think purely in albums, and if I don't feel like listening to a whole album at any given time, I just won't listen to it and will find something else

If I put something in to listen to it it's because I want to listen to it at that time. I know that might sound amazing in this MTV, podI, listening to books short attention span age....

And I am not sure what that has to do with your original comment, anyway.

P.S. Did you just actually ask me if I would take a Satchmo record (as in Louis Armstrong) out?

That will be the day!

As Kenny Rogers would tell you....

You've got to know when to hold 'em
Know when to fold 'em
Know when to walk away

I'd have to say Revolver, it seems to sit the best with me, however I do still need White Album which looks really good, but the pricetag always drives me away.
