The thing that really stunted the quality and kept groups from Mexico breaking out farther than the Spanish speaking world is Luis Echeverría reaction to 1971's Festival Rock y Ruedas de Avándaro. It then continued after Echeverría....Rock bands were not allowed to perfrom live again until the mid 80's. Except for a few bands the it basically died until then. It had to start all over again and by that time mainstream in the rest of the world had gone to hell.

It also didn't help that those outside Mexico were not allowed to come and perform there until the early 90's.

Best band 4 you will be "alacranes musical" or sumthing like that..well here is the truth.."THEY SUCK!"

It is funny to see how some people react when you disagree on something they said.
I don't really understand why would you want to know where am I from, but you are wrong, I am not from monterrey or el df. Oh and I haven't heard of "alacrenes musical" either.

I have Yosoy. Cool record.

Any other music from Mexico you think I'd like? I don't mind if it's old fashioned or outdated.
