Wanna start a "music" podcast...help...

Hi all,

I've been interested in starting "music" podcast (focusing mainly on hip hop) for a while now to showcase some of me and my friends' work. I envision a platform where I will interview local artists as well as those that I meet online.Being a musician, it would be a good medium for me to get my music out to more people, talk about my process as an artist in music, etc.

But, logistically, I'm curious if there is software available to help me bridge the distance barrier between me and any guest that I meet online (like all of you fine folks). I can't think of how to record an interview unless my guest is in the studio with me, which might not be possible very often. Does anyone know of any software that might take care of this issue? Also, it would be great if there were programs available to help me catalog, manage and publish (to internet) my shows once they are recorded.

Does anyone have any advice?

Thanks
