Sum 41

Anyone excited for their new CD, coming out July 24th? I am, the lead guitarist quit and they've reverted to the old "Half Hour of Power" genre. Their album Chuck was very metal/heavy rock influence. Granted I like heavy music. It just wasn't Sum.

I don't know, I liked "March of the Dogs", but "Underclass Hero" annoys me.

Yeah I agree, I definitely have to wait and see how the album turns out. The song Underclass hero sounds just like FM Static-My First Radio. But march of the dogs is excellent.

I have a respect for them because they tried to preserve the Punk edge in their lyrics shown in Fat Lip. Unlike other Pop-Punk bands Sum 41 seems to have actually grown up as Punks.

I don't understand how there's a correct time for a post. The topic was fit, I asked if anyone was excited.

I am excited that the pseudo punks might sometime (along with hip-hop) see the end to their cycle...it is time for the NO TALENTS to stop being allowed to record. Record companies are at fault.

Translation....

I may or may not be tranlating for Satchmo....

aka

Being excited about anything that may or may not have anything to do with Sum 41, Green Day, Blink-182 and their ilk being liked to anything that may or may not be linked to Punk in the same post and/or thread makes me want to break out the Pepto pismo and Imodium A-D.
