well, I'm a singer, and I sing...jazz
I don't mind your opinion iron_sonata, sometimes I also hate vocals in it. I love it when there's just a sax or a trumpet in it, and I think the bass is also a very important instrument, one of my favourite's.

Heh Heh sorry.....I try to not to be so close-minded in my posts but most of the times it doesnt work. Jazz singers are extremely talented no doubt, but I prefer the instrumentals. Its that way with all music I listen to

I understand
I know a lot people, who just like the instrumental music better.
But jazz, was originally made with a voice. And, since I'm a singer myself; I really love jazzdivas. What they do with their voice, is really beautiful. scatting, singing, humming...hmmmm....swinging!

Although the sweet sounds of a sexy girl are very tempting, I'm gonna have to go with the drums. I'm biased cause' I've played drums for years, but the drumset is the one instrument you can rock a whole party with by yourself. The drums keep the music together.

Ya know, I have an opinion about this that I've shared on a rock thread, so I'll share it here too...

The most important, best (and sexiest, for that matter) instrument in any kind of music is the creative mind.
