70s rock taste test

Which one do you like best? They're all very obscure 70s or 70s style bands. Maybe someone like Satchmo or Psych Sid can guess who they are...or maybe you'll hate all of 'em. Either way, its fun.

I'll let you know who the bands are when we have a runaway winner!

Without even listening I can say it's probably The Grateful Dead.

I thought it might be Hard to Handle. The original version is too old, so I figured it was The Dead's version...oh, well.

The Black Crowes have another well known recording?

Sorry, I just noticed this.

1. http://tinyurl.com/2gj4oy (the record was released in 2005 by Comet)

2. http://www.radiomute.com/415374-post842.html (this was reissued in 2005)

3. http://www.radiomute.com/414932-post835.html (third one down....this was reissued in 2003)

P.S. Grasshoppas Seba, MilesMingus and if he still posted General Electric should have been able to get 2 and 3.

Hold on.....you really thought:

1. Grasshoppa panbient wouldn't have been able to tell if it was The Dead right away?

2. The Grateful Dead would be the lessor known band of those three, or even referred too as a lessor known band by Grasshoppa panbient?

We had a Grateful Dead, a possible Black Crowes influencing band, a post from someone who says he knew them but didn't post anything....

Easy for me, I am not sure how kinda easy it was for the others.

There is a reason Satchmo is considered a Superior Prick and Sacred Cow or some such nonsense....and this thread/post once again shows why.
