Panbient and others - no decent forum would 'ban' anyone for their opinion or going against the grain. It's much more subtle, a general clicking of tongues and rolling of eyes sort of thing. The folks on Radiomute are quite tolerant, but certainly no different than any other music forum with this sort of collective reaction. It's human nature when strongly held beliefs or views are questioned. Some kid posted something about "how all hardcore punk sounds exactly the same" on my forum and I had a rough time whistling a happy tune in response. |

The odds are these people, especially if their kids just don't know any better. The only people who really bugged me around here were Lazer57 and Melonius Thunk. Neither contributed anything to the board, had no sense of humor and were constantly whining or insulting someone....and in the first's case, he was constantly trying to tell the Mods how to Moderate and The Big K how the board should be run and that was within two or three days of being a member.
I really don't care if someone doesn't agree with me....it would be boring as hell if that happened all the time, because there is no discussions when that happens. However, I see no reason to be insulted or insult someone for not agreeing with you....I am way too old for elementary school behavior.
P.S. Of course those "Fans" that only live in the back alleys of the pm world like vermin and who inform me what they would like to do to my daughters and/or Lady Satchmo are a different story, altogether.
