Bo Diddley
The Originator, Ellas Bates McDaniel, aka Bo Diddley, one of The Zola's most beloved musicians, suffered a stroke after a concert last Sunday. He's in guarded condition at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha.

He is in his late 70s and the stroke is reported to have impaired his speech. If he pulls through it's likely he'll never perform again.
Did you get a chance to see him play at the Fest?

I hope he can recover, whether he can play again or not. Although I'd love to be able to see him. Get better Bo.

He's already up walking and he still can play the guitar. Speaking and singing, on the other hand.

Bo's health is continuing to deteriorate. He suffered a heart attack a few days ago. He is stable but the situation is serious.
