Dream Theater - Panic Attack

I'm worried...2:30 into the track and I'm not compelled to turn it off.

LaBrie's vocals are even nearly tolerable.

I'm at 3:33 now and there hasn't even been a longass pointless guitar solo yet. Impressive.

The main riff feels a bit Crimson-esque, but it's not too bad.

Ok, 5:00, the solos begin. I knew it was too good to last.

You know it's bad when I call a band a bunch of pretentious wankers.

In any case, I guess the title is apt...I may have my own Panic Attack at nearly enjoying the majority of a Dream Theater song.

Skipped to track 8...the into to Octavarium has to be the worst attempt at a Pink Floyd song I've ever heard.

Edit: Never mind, I forgot about their "Medley" on A Change of Seasons.

Get Yoshida in the house for a real medley. I'll show up for "Dream Theater Medley (Reversable)"
