WKCR will be having a week long Sam Rivers festival. During the festival there will be a reunion performance with Rivers, Dave Holland and Barry Altschul.

Speaking of WKCR, I hear that Phil Schaap recently spent 2 or 3 days on Salt Peanuts....as in only Salt Peanuts and everything you could ever want to know about that composition.

My God! I missed it? He didn't happen to cover any mysterious recordings where the bass player may or may not be Ray Brown, did he? Things like analyzing the vocal tone in between takes?
