i would have been happy just discussing 1997 in general i figured this was about reminiscing over OK Computer and the ends of faith no more and soundgarden hehehe

Heh. I was thinking of "Album of the Year" upon opening the thread. Ordinarily, I'd be surprised that someone else would associate somehting like that with a Faith No More mini-era. But then I've read quite a number of your posts on FNM, Mr Bungle, etc.

Managed to catch them at Brixton Academy on 29 November 1997. Was shocked when they decided to break up only months later.

I only got to see FNM once when they opened for Billy Idol when the Real Thing came out. I remember that Mike Patton was doing the fish flopping thing when I saw a stage hand sneak up behind him and take his Mic stand so that he wouldn't hurt himself while he was flailing around.
