Question Stereo Channels in FL Studio? Is it possible?

I have a question for the pros or just informed electronic musicians.

Is it possible to have professional stereo channels in FruityLoops? This means to have one stereo channel for vocals, one for drums, guitar, etc... so it dosn't sound all cluttered together, but rather playing alongside eachother, each channel being clearly audible and not squashed together.

A good example of this is on (professional albums) where the singer has vox over an acoustic intro, and then the heavy guitars kick in, and the vocals are heard at the same volume but are not overpowered by the new loud guitar.

Well i'm sure you all know what i mean.

Is all hope lost? Can anyone help me out?

I'm not sure what you're asking here, but yes, it's possible to seperate the different instruments in fruity loops into different channels. Not only is it possible, but it is advisable. However, just designating a unique channel for each instrument is usually not enough to make the mix sound right, for that you have to use compression and equalizers to shape the sound.

I'm fairly good with compression and EQ, alot better than a year ago. How would you go about seperating say, a vocal layer from the main background beat, as it were?
Maybe i'm just missing something obvious.

Here's a quick illustration on how to do it. I'm using version 5 here, but it should be similar in other versions.

Thank you Zlatko for the pic.
It seems that's what i've been doing all along lol.

The story behind this stupid question may be something familiar for some of you. I'm on a year vacation at a friends house where I'm been making it a point to finish one song every week, because i'm after the "musicians dream", as it were. .

oh, the horror.
moved out of Brooklyn to upstate NY.
just trying frantically to flesh out the sound in my head as best I can... I didn't imagine the self discipline this would take.

thnx again, take care.
