Can you use stereo speakers to play instruments through?
i have a power amp and mixer combination that i use to jam with. But i currently dont have my music speakers anymore. i have a large sound system stereo thing that uses the wire plugs thingy. i have two big 250watt speakers. would it be alright if i hooked it up to my poweramp mixer so i could jam through it with my guitars, mikes, digital pianos, ect....?

You can....but the most likely outcome is blown home speakers. Also, in the rare instance you didn't blow the speakers....your guitar wouldn't sound the same as how it would on a your guitar speaker.
Keep in mind that the home speakers are made to play compressed music and not for the apmplification of an uncompressed guitar and/or any electronic instrument.

what he said is true, but if you plug headphones in the headphone jack of the keybaord, do the headphoens get mest up? NO, thats what there made for, so if you get a headphone to AV jack and plug the red and white chord in the back of your system, it would be the same as listing to it on headphones. it sends the same signal.
