As a high school-age fan of NIN (or at least Downward Spiral, haven't heard the rest), I resent that statement.

Man, Fixed EP, Broken EP, and Downward Spiral are all amazing stuff out by Reznor can't really say people don't like him since we're not in high school anymore I guess his stuff has got boring after The Fragile. The Fragile was good, I enjoyed it. With Teeth was OK, some good songs rest are boring.

I'm not going to rule out a new release by NIN yet. I remember hearing 2 or 3 of the new songs, and one in particular, if it had been on The Downward Spiral, I wouldn't have gone "wait, this doesn't belong here." But hey, time will tell.

I'm excited because Buckethead has so far announced the release of 14 cds...yeah, 14, new ones, too. I'm going to do a lot of reading into reviews before I delve into that though. I'm like a completionist when it comes to him..but..I mean, I don't even have the time for that right now. I'll take it slowly.

Opeth should have one out, but who knows.

And I've been waiting on a new Tomahawk cd for a while now.

Oh and John 5.

Which happens first....

1. China becomes a Democracy.

2. Chinese Deomcarcy is released in Satchmo's lifetime.

2. Van Halen actually reunites.

4. That that Satchmo guy gets Cancer.

5. Guns N' Roses reunites.

6. Bush can actually pronounce Nuclear.

7. Anything but #4.

I am personally going with #7.

I think Vast is going to have a new album though I don't know how excited I am to hear it. New Porcupine Tree(Fear of a Black Planet) about to come out.

Neil Young - Live at Massey Hall

If there was one Neil Young bootleg to have....his solo acoustic performance on January 19, 1971 was the one to have. Most of the songs were new and hadn't even been recorded at that point.

It's finally being officially released. There are two versions....with or without a DVD.

New Neurosis.
Track from it that has got me all exicted - http://www.neurotrecordings.com/arti...sNotEnough.mp3

Quote:
Influential Californian alt-metal outfit Neurosis are to follow up their The Eye Of Every Storm LP of 2004 with Given To The Rising, out on May 7 via Neurot.
The record sees the band - pictured - take a "giant leap forward creatively" according to the PR powers that be. The album was recorded with Steve Albini in Chicago, and its tracklisting looks a lot like this:
'Given To The Rising'
'Fear & Sickness'
'To The Wind'
'At The End Of The Road'
'Shadow'
'Hidden Faces'
'Water Is Not Enough'
'Distil (Watching The Swarm)'
'Nine'
'Origin'

Also new Iron and Wine soon.
