trying to locate and rediscover something I heard???

Hi All,

Looking for a particular band...

I was surfing for music about a month or two ago and came across this quirky band that I just can't seem to locate again.

Some things I remembered about the music:

1. Very heavy British accents - think Billy Bragg
2. Vocalist sounded a bit like Sinatra
3. Music was almost without melody (stop/start type music)
4. Music reminded me of a combination - "At the Drive in" meets "Cake" with comic relief of the "bloodhound gang"

Anyhow, I'm sure they were new and being highlighted somewhere online but I just can't find them again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

Strange eclectic sound. Wish I could find them again.

Thanks for trying... actually the A_monkeys have too much of a melody anyway, these blokes were REAL choppy sounding and very unique in sound.

But I appreciate your effort.

the search continues....

Sounds a lot like the Arctic Monkeys but with less flow and more crunch, believe it or not.

Heavy British accents and sounds like Sinatra doesn't mix. Do you even know who Sinatra is?
