Hi-Standard V.S. Brain Failure
As the punk rock music populated in USA and ERUO, Far East countries such as Janpan and China has also gone through punk-revolution to produce punk rock band.
There are two noticible bands, one from Japan, known as Hi-Standard and the other one is from China, called Brain Failure.
Hi-standard is singing in English.
Brain Failure is singing in English and Chinese. (Remarkable in chinese punk rock history, a land that lack of the freedom of speech)
Some songs from them:
Hi-Standard--------The Kids Are Alright
Hi-Standard--------Wait For The Sun
Hi-standard--------Teenagers Are All Assholes
Hi-standard--------This Is Love
Brain Failure--------Listen to My Back (also called "That's What I Know")
Brain Failure--------Human
Brain Failure--------Holy bullshit
Brain Failure--------Played
Brain Failure--------Such A Dangerous

I have heard high standard, they had a couple of songs on one of those "Fat Wreck Chords" comps from the 90's, they did a cover of "california Dreaming" and the song "wait for the sun" was on it as well. They are fairly decent for a melodic punk band.
I don't think I have heard of brain failure.

They're "Heavily" influenced by The Clash.
