has anyone here heard of this brand or tried out their gear?

they seem to be a 'tribute' manufacturer making knock offs of old 60s style gear. including a much cheaper alternative to the ampeg AMB scroll bass (699 for a tribute as opposed to 2000 for a replica)

so unless the taxman is a bastard this year (or if someone else has other advice / criticisms on the brand) i'm 99% certain i'll be getting my hands on one of these this spring.

That's a pretty snazzy looking bass. I haven't heard of them. Any idea if they are out in the stores? Might be worth a walk around the block.

don't think it's a brand you'll find in major chains but mom and pop or specialty music stores might have more variety

I don't know anyone who has one to drop any useful knowledge. I would suggest first giving it a test run in a store before dropping any loonies on it.
