Well, Sam himself only agreed to play two or three Roth tunes, with a few surprises every now and then. In an interview though he said that he only plays songs if he likes to sing them. Seemed kind of like a slap in the face to Roth.

1. That's two or three more than DLR will ever sing of Van Hagar.
2. I would say it was more along the lines that he just didn't sing them that well.

2. Could be. I've heard him sing 'Unchained' and he simply doesn't have the rawness required for a tune like that.
