What I'd like seeing though is that Steven Tyler's daughter took a step or two into DLR's daughter's direction, career-wise anyway.

I remember reading not long after the MTV thing that backstage a journalist asked Eddie about his hip surgery, to which Diamond Dave jumped in and said something like "Fuck Eddie! This is my night!" Then, fireworks.

i remember watching those awards and seeing diamond dave raising his hands like his presence accomplished something but as for who they were awarding. don't really remember. 96 though... i'm gonna guess greenday or metallica

This is how Eddie told the story back in 1996 when everything blew-up.


They go backstage and DLR is flying high over all the attention from the press. The press keeps asking about the touring and recording a new record. Eddie says he kept mentioning he was going to need his hip replaced first.

As this supposedly keeps going on DLR is supposed to start getting gloomy and when Eddie asks him what is wrong....according to Eddie "Dave says "This is my fucking night, stop talking about your fucking hip."


Now make what you want about this bit of fact....Eddie doesn't get his hip replaced until 1999.

i agree with Satchmo, Michael Anthony is about the easiest replacement in rock next to the drummer from AC/DC
