Remember the sound of old time blues?

Hey, my name is Christy and I’m kind of new to the forum. I love blues music. You know there are some days when it just feels good to hear the blues. The blues just speaks to people, don’t you think? I wanted to tell everyone about a blues artist I’ve been listening to. His name is Kemp Harris and his new CD “Edenton is coming out on March 13th.

Does anyone know about his first album “Sometimes in Bad Weather from 2002? That’s how I first got wind of his musical style. I found out on Kemp’s MySpace that The Holmes Brothers are listed as special guests on the new album and I think I recognize them singing on “Sweet Weepin Jesus. You can listen to it as well as a few others at http://www.myspace.com/kempharrismusic

Would love to know if anyone else here has heard of Kemp and his work with The Holmes Brothers.

I'm gonna do myself a favor and not even subject myself to it.
